U.S. Does Damage Control After Intel Leak

Over the last several weeks highly classified U.S. Department of Defense documents have been leaked online. The contents include sensitive information surrounding the war in Ukraine, along with intelligence on America’s allies. The latter indicates the U.S. is spying on its partners around the globe in places such as South Korea, Israel, and Ukraine. In response the U.S. Department of Justice is investigating the source of the leak which represents a threat to national security and is the most severe exposure of classified documents in nearly a decade.
