World Leaders Converge in Indonesia for G20 Summit

Leaders representing three-fifths of the planet’s population and fourth-fifths of global gross domestic product are meeting in Bali, Indonesia for the G20 Summit. The G20 Summit is an annual meeting made up of the world’s 19 largest economies along with the European Union.

This year’s meeting represents the first-time world leaders have met face-to-face since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in February. Participating countries include Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, South Korea, Turkey, the UK and the US.
